Understanding Delivery Options

Depending on your order size and site access, we'll use one of three truck types. We'll confirm the best option when quoting.

Capacity reduces when we bring a forklift for install service (offload + placement).

What We Need to Deliver Successfully

To deliver smoothly and avoid delays, we need:

Clear Vehicle Access

Wide enough for the truck type (we'll confirm dimensions when quoting). Typical requirements:

  • Rigid truck: ~3m wide clearance
  • Semi-trailer: ~3m wide, longer turning circle
  • B-double: ~3m wide, very long turning circle (requires wide, straight access)

Stable Ground

Trucks are heavy (especially when loaded). Soft, muddy, or uneven ground can cause issues. If your site has marginal ground conditions, let us know.

Overhead Clearance

Low-hanging trees, power lines, or structures can prevent truck access. If you're unsure, measure clearance or take photos.

Unloading Space

Room to safely offload blocks (either using your equipment or our install service).

Who Unloads the Blocks?

Most common for commercial buyers

You use your own forklift, crane, or lifting equipment. We deliver, you take it from there. No additional cost beyond delivery.

How Delivery Is Priced

Delivery cost is based on:

Delivery Questions

Delivery is typically Monday-Friday during business hours. Weekend delivery may be available depending on scheduling and driver availability. Ask when requesting a quote if you need weekend delivery.

Yes. If you have multiple delivery addresses for a single order, let us know when quoting and we'll work out logistics and pricing. Multi-site delivery may incur additional cost depending on locations.
If access is more difficult than expected (narrower gate, softer ground, unexpected obstacles), it may prevent delivery or require a smaller truck (and multiple trips). We'll communicate options on the day. To avoid this, provide accurate site details (photos help) when requesting a quote.
Not typically. Blocks are manufactured to order or pulled from stock, and delivery is scheduled in advance. Typical turnaround is 1.5-2 weeks. If you have an urgent project, call (02) 8089 0265 and we'll check what's possible.
Semi-trailers need ~3m clearance width, stable ground, and a turning circle for manoeuvring. If you're on a narrow residential street or have tight gate access, a rigid truck may be better. Email site photos to info@symonconcreteproducts.com.au and we'll advise.
Rigid trucks are smaller and more manoeuvrable, making them better for: Residential sites with narrow driveways or gates, Suburban streets with tight access, Sites with limited turning space. Capacity is lower (18 blocks vs 24 for a semi), so if you need more blocks, it may require multiple trips.
Yes. We deliver as far as Tweed Heads (near the QLD border), Port Macquarie, Bathurst, and other regional areas. Delivery cost is quoted based on distance. If you're outside typical metro areas, just ask - if the job makes sense, we'll deliver.
