When to Use LEGO Blocks

LEGO blocks are the go-to choice when you need interlocking stability. The lugs on top and recesses on bottom lock together, making them ideal for:

Retaining Walls

Perfect for sloped terrain, erosion control, or anywhere you need to resist lateral earth pressure. The interlocking design adds stability without requiring additional fixing.

Site Hoarding & Temporary Barriers

Popular with hoarding companies and site managers. Blocks can be easily positioned and repositioned as site layout changes, and the interlocking design keeps them stable.

Flexible Layouts

If your project might need adjusting or you're working on uneven ground, LEGO blocks give you flexibility while maintaining strength.

Material Bay Dividers (where stability matters)

While flat top blocks are more common for bays, LEGO blocks work well where you need extra stability or will be stacking multiple layers.

20 blocks 24 metres of wall length (single row) or 12 metres at 2 blocks high

For material bays:

Depends on bay dimensions and height. A typical 6m x 6m bay with 1.2m high walls needs approximately 20 blocks (perimeter only).

LEGO Block Questions

LEGO blocks interlock (lugs on top, recesses on bottom) for added stability. Choose LEGO for retaining walls, site hoarding, or anywhere you need blocks to resist lateral pressure or movement. Choose flat top for simple stacking (material bays, low partitions) where interlocking isn't required.
It's an industry term for interlocking concrete blocks with lugs and recesses that lock together like LEGO toys. The design provides stability without mortar or additional fixing.
Yes. The interlocking design makes them suitable for stacking. For walls over 1.2 metres high (2+ blocks), check local engineering requirements and consider site-specific factors (soil type, drainage, load).
Each block has a 2.5-tonne lifting anchor point. Use a suitable lifting clutch with your forklift, crane, or telehandler. Blocks weigh ~1 tonne each.
Typically 1.5-2 weeks depending on current stock. If you have an urgent project, let us know and we'll advise the soonest available slot.
